The De Moor estate is located in the small village of Courgis, in the region of Chablis. Alice and Olivier De Moor planted their first vines in 1989, but really started the De Moor estate in 1994, when they had 4 hectares of vineyards. Unlike the classical Burgundy winemaking approach, they immediately focused on making pure, natural wines. The De Moors have worked their vines organically since 2005, using gentle vinification processes for the wines, ensuring the most natural and respectful use of their terroir.
Vendangeur Masqué or “masked harvester” is the label for de Moor wines from sourced fruit; the wines are made in the de Moor cellar in Courgis in the same manner as their estate wines. The Vendangeur Masqué Bourgogne Blanc grapes come from Domaine d’Edouard in Chablis & Domaine de La Cadette in Vezelay.
