Clay soil in subsoil and the topsoil is a mixture of clay­limestone shales. 

Manual harvesting.
Hand-picked grapes. Natural vinification. No inputs are used during the vinification. Only indigenous yeasts without addition of sulphites.
Semi carbonic maceration. Maturing in casks. No filtration.

The wines of this terroir are fleshier and have broader shoulders than their other Beaujolais cousins. But at the same time, the finesse of the Ga may is preserved with ripe red fruits and floral notes.
