The Other Right Counting Stars 2021

“The name ‘The Other Right’ started as a family joke after Galit found it challenging to distinguish between right and left, giving driving directions with shouts like "Not This right, the Other right!!!". It also resonates with us as The Other Right stands for an alternative. 'Right' is a subjective concept. Having heard many times of the Right way (in life, winemaking, you name it) but believing there is more than right and wrong, we started making wine under The Other Right label in 2012.

A reminder that doing it easy makes things look brighter at times. “Stay Mellow” is named after a song by the Toy Dolls that says exactly that. We strongly urge you to give it a listen. Our first Sémillon. Due to last season’s weather and bushfires, there wasn’t as much of the usual grapes we source. In a generous gesture, Anton and Aaron of Lucy Margaux/Chateau Comme ci, Comme ca offered to share some of the Sémillon they source from Magpie Springs (where the majority of our pet nats come from).
