The Serradenari cru in La Morra houses the highest vineyards in Barolo, at 520 metres. With the Alps and the rolling hills of Barolo in view, the altitude retains acidity and freshness in the grapes. Hence the resulting wine.
Her philosophy is to create Barolo with elegance. Hence extraction is gentle, with less aggressive management than her peers. Fermentation is spontaneous with around 40 days of maceration in 60HL truncated wooden vats.
Highly floral rose petals showcase its elegance, supported by fine-grained tannins and ample yet soft acidity.
